All sales are final, but there are exceptions. Electrical items such as light fixtures, appliances and power tools have a 30-day warranty. If something electrical you purchased stops working within 30 days of purchase, you can return the item for a refund or store credit. Whichever you’d prefer.
All prices are as marked until the Mark Down Day. In Bloomfield, the Mark Down is on the first Thursday of every month. In Vernon, the day is TBD.
We ask that items are picked up within two working days. Extra time can be discussed with a manager.
All sales are final. The item(s) will be returned to the sales floor as a donation. A donation receipt will be offered at that time. A refund will not be given, but a store credit can be given at a manager’s discretion.
New or gently used furniture, appliances, tools, cabinets, etc. A full list can be found by clicking the “Donate” tab.
Just click on the “Donate” tab. You can either submit for a free pickup within 1-2 weeks, or a priority pickup within 48-72 hours for a fee. Both options are featured on the “Donate” page.
For the most part, yes. We do have some new items like paint and paint supplies (brushes, etc.), and once in a while we have new furniture from places like Ashley Furniture and Article Furniture.
We ask that items are picked up within two working days. If you need more time, call 860-519-0828. Subject to storage fees or forfeiture of the item if not picked up/we don’t hear from you.
Yes, we are a non-profit, but we are also classified as retail in the state of Connecticut. In Connecticut there is a 6.35% sales tax, and because we are classified as a retail establishment, we have to charge sales tax.
We have two ReStore locations. The first is located at 500 Cottage Grove Rd in Bloomfield, and the second is at 369 Talcottville Rd in Vernon.
In both stores we accept all major credit/debit cards and cash. No checks! Online we accept PayPal.
We do not. All items must be paid for in full at the time of purchase.
Both Bloomfield and Vernon are open the same hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday 9-5 and Thursdays 10-7. Donation drop-off and purchase pickup are up until the last hour of the day (4pm Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat and 6pm Thurs).
Bloomfield has a large private parking lot, while Vernon has a smaller lot shared with the other businesses in the building.
Unfortunately no. Items must be processed first before they go on sale. Processing can take anywhere from a few hours to a week. It depends on how much help we have on any given day.
